Geared up from the waist up, behold the Osprey MKII plate carrier. Issued from 2007, it's not only a vest type plate carrier - protect ya neck and shoulders with armour fillable components! Brassards and collars, oh my! They even come with a second, larger ''full collar'' (pictured on the model is the ''1/2 collar''). These systems would be filled with rigid plates and ballistic filler which are unfortunately not included. In the MKII, the plate inserts have their own zippered pockets front and back (with another pocket inside, oOoo. Place one of those tiny heart armour plates in there or maybe a picture of your cat). Now you probably don't have these specific thorax plates hanging around aimlessly but have you considered being the most belligerent looking laptop carrier? Just imagine!
If you're not feeling large and about to charge just yet, go absolutely mental with the PALS covered front, back and sides. And if you're still not finished attaching things to your torso, fast clips can attach to a Camelbak, respirator bag and appropriate day bag. To the front under the plate pocket sits a hook & loop cummerbund (see last image of carrier flat from front) and adding to fit adjustment is hook & loop to both sides of the waist area.
Enough waffle. Assembly required! These are so fresh and unused, some have tailors chalk and flat packed in plastic packaging. Stock up on DDPM pouches, load up the tortoise and go fight a sandworm.
